Jane and Scout are eagerly waiting for the maiden voyage. We pulled up all of the rubber flooring-found a few soft spots-but not enough to worry about. Also found a leak after the rain yesterday so I'll have to seal up some of the seams. Next, the new floor and building a box in the back for the futon. Then some sort of cooking situation.

Scout

Scout is Tug's brother, only bigger, much much bigger! Scout is our alpha male. He loves to strut around with his tail straight up, commanding much respect from our humble little Tug. Imagine Tug's surprise when Scout came to live with us two months after Tug got away from Scout's domineering ways. Scout will lick the burgler to death with his 8 inch long tongue. He has a laid-back way about him. If Tug senses danger, Scout looks around and lays back down. Tug will get it.......
Scout loves Jane and vanilla yougart.

Jane

Jane is my 1.5 year old German Shepherd, from Starrshepherds.com. She is Tug and Scouts half-sister-they have the same Mother. She is an elegant, fantastically photogenic beauty. She loves to put on hats and costumes and have her picture taken. Here she is in her Red Hat! She loves the "chase" and oatmeal cookies.

Getting the dogs used to the "Bus"
We've had the bus for almost a week now. After two days I finally got up the nerve to start the engine and turn the thing around so I could begin to work on it. Ohmygod! Its huge, so huge it has backup warning beeps. We began by taking out the rest of the seats and scraping off the stickers on the windows. The "gang" practiced loading up and had a blast looking out the windows and smelling all the new smells.
